The yurt is the traditional habitat of the nomadic people of Central Asia. Conceived 5000 years ago, the yurt is listed in the UNESCO world heritage as a masterpiece of human brain. It is a circular tent made from wood, felt and canvas. Thanks to the isolating wool felt, a yurt is very comfortable even during cold weather. With its circular form and the direct contact to the ground, a yurt is said to have spiritual powers.
