Notice to wine lovers: several times a week, a guide invites you to visit the wine estate, its facilities and its vineyards. Our emblematic chef Michel, offers you a cuisine with Mediterranean colors, a perfect harmony between well-being and gastronomic discovery (restaurant close every Tuesdays). On the menu: vegetables from the sun, local meat, seafood, all washed down with olive oil from the Domaine! Refined dishes that have made the reputation of the restaurant La Source! For the more athletic, on the edge of the Garrigue Gardoise, and near the banks of the Vidourle, the Roc de Massereau adventure park is one of the major attractions in the Occitanie region. You can lounge on a private beach, canoe or stand up paddle on the river, or even have fun in the tree climbing park that crosses the site. With its 17 courses, a total of 250 platforms in the trees as well as 50 zip lines, it is one of the largest tree climbing parks in France! Want to take a walk? The campsite has direct access to the Voie Verte, a 20km cycle path linking the town of Sommières to Caveirac.
Domaine de Massereau is a family vineyard acquired in 1804. In 2006, Jean Freychet decided to create a hotel in order to save the vineyard which was in great financial difficulty. He finally decided to create a campsite on a plot of more than 8 hectares. Not just any campsite, since the family business became the first campsite to obtain the 5-star rating in France. 15 years later, with his creativity still going strong, he created the hotel he so much wanted. With always this nod to his family heritage, his hotel is a complex of 10 equipped rooms, imagined in barrels! Our rooms are unusual and bear witness to an extraordinary family history rich in symbolism.
