The La Garenne Saint Germain estate, nestled in the heart of a 19th-century wooded park, incorporates structures dating back to the 18th century. The adjacent wine cellars, built in 1793, bore witness to the winemaking era until the arrival of phylloxera. Today, the old cognac cellar houses the cottage "Le Chai", where the wooden pillars of the old press still remain. Nearby, one discovers the old "Stable" for horses and an ancient bread oven that once served the family and the village. At the heart of the estate, "La Petite Tour" shelters "La Cuisine de Grand-Mère", a room imbued with a unique atmosphere. Barrels lined up along the walls evoke the traditional "longhouses". In the 19th century, an extension completed the site, giving it a horseshoe shape, characteristic of Charentais homes. This property has been in the current family since the 18th century and, with a history blending Charentais peasants and Norman carpenters, it symbolizes a connection between land and sea, both through its heritage and its geography.

Welcoming you in a family atmosphere, joyful, on a human scale, which allows us to serve you well, to "share" but also to refocus and recharge your batteries in an appropriate place.
William, son, grandson, and great-grandson of the owners, I come from a family of Charentais farmers and Norman shipowners.
